Do you know the Cathedral Ranges? Well then join this walk for a unique perspective and view Melbourne’s famous range from a different view. We leave the cars for this walk and within 20 steps enter the forest to start our off track ascent of Chapel Hill. This long ascent gives majestic views of the surrounding ranges and valleys.
Starting from the northern end car park, this is another sensational 13km walk along the challenging and rewarding mountains, plus you get to enjoy a yummy healthy lunch overlooking the razorback ridge. You’ll be feeling inspired and proud of your achievements as we make our steady descent and follow the river back to our start point.
This GRADE 4 walk involves a significant amount of technical walking and requires a little more agility and stability.

Turn off Maroondah Hwy onto Cathedral Lane.
After 2.6km turn right onto Little River Road.
Follow the dirt road for a further 2.7km and park at Ned’s Gully Campground carpark.
