The itinerary may also change due to the overall group fitness. The itinerary has been put together to give you maximum amount of time on the trail with the least amount of time wasted – true TSA fashion. There will be scheduled down time and easier days to recover, but this is a BIG trip.

DAY 1

7:30pm: Drive to our accommodation
8:30pm: First relax 🙂

DAY 2

8:00am: Tarawera Lake Walk to the hot beach. This lovely walk alongside Lake Tarawera has a real tropical feel with amazing views through palm trees. The best is at the end where hot thermal springs meet the cold lake water – pick your best spot! Then take a boat back to the start. Grade 3. 15km, 5 hrs
3:00pm: Mountain Biking or walk through the woods or free time.
6:30pm: Dinner
7:30pm: Night time dip at the Kerosine Falls thermal river. This is a magical moment as the natural hot water creek cascades over you leaving you feeling fantastic.
